Description
The Balmar 7095 Offshore Repair Kit gathers the wearing parts needed to service a 95 Series alternator without sending it to a workshop. It contains the front and rear bearings, a replacement brush set and the positive and negative rectifier diodes, so a competent engineer can refresh the charging end of the alternator while under way or at a remote anchorage.
Balmar packages these kits as onboard spares insurance for offshore and long-distance cruisers running a 95 Series, 12 or 24 volt alternator. Fitting the kit restores original charging output and reliability and extends the working life of the alternator.
