Description
The OnDeck Relay Switch (24 V DC) extends the remote-control capability of the Garmin OnDeck vessel monitoring system on 24 V vessels. Wired to the OnDeck Hub, it allows an item such as a cabin light, fan or accessory to be switched on or off from anywhere using the Garmin ActiveCaptain app, so you can prepare or check on the boat without being aboard.
This 24 V relay is one of the switch types that can be added to an OnDeck Hub, with up to five relay switches supported per hub. The relay coil is driven from the hub through a 1 A fused control wire, while the switched contacts handle the load up to the rated current. To protect the relay and connected equipment, it must be installed in a dry location. Switches are set up and operated through the ActiveCaptain app.
