Description
The Panoptix PS70 is a stainless-steel thru-hull transducer powered by Garmin RapidReturn sonar, bringing live sonar to deep-sea fishing with views up to 305 m (1,000 ft) below the boat. Four modes cover every situation: LiveVu Down for real-time targets, Traditional sonar, Triple-Beam for a port, straight-down and starboard split, and RealVu 3D Historical for a scanned three-dimensional view. A wide 120-degree port-to-starboard by 8-degree bow-to-stern beam covers large areas of water, while 800 W of power, image stabilisation and a fast refresh rate keep the picture clear at depth. This version is supplied with a fairing block and mounting hardware so it can be fitted on hulls with deadrise angles from 0 to 20 degrees. It connects through an integrated Garmin BlueNet cable to a Garmin BlueNet chartplotter or BlueNet 20 switch, with legacy Garmin Marine Network chartplotters supported via an adapter cable.
