Description
The Maretron PT-0-1.5PSI-01 is a low-range gauge-type pressure transducer that senses pressure over a 0 to 1.5 PSI (0.10 bar) range and passes the reading to a Maretron FPM100 Fluid Pressure Monitor. The FPM100 converts the signal into NMEA 2000 data, so the pressure or calculated tank level can be viewed on any compatible display aboard.
Its very low range makes it well suited to tank-level monitoring, where a transducer mounted at the base of a tank measures the head of fluid above it. This allows level sensing in deep or awkwardly shaped tanks that other technologies struggle with. It works with water, waste water, diesel, oil, hydraulic fluid and other compatible media.
A stainless steel body with a ceramic sensing element and a 1/4 inch NPT male fitting allow direct mounting into the system or tank. Where pressure spikes may occur, fit a PT-SNUB-01 pressure snubber first. Not approved for use with petrol or gasoline.
