Description
The Maretron PT-SNUB-01 pressure snubber is a protective accessory for use with Maretron pressure transducers on a Fluid Pressure Monitor system. It dampens sudden pressure spikes and transients so the transducer sees a smoothed pressure, guarding it against damage on pumped or pulsating circuits.
The snubber fits between the system being monitored and the transducer: it is installed onto the system first, then the pressure transducer is threaded into the female port on the snubber. It is recommended wherever pressure spikes may occur, or where system pressure could momentarily exceed the transducer maximum rating. Not approved for use with petrol or gasoline.
