Description
The Maretron PTS-0-1.5PSI-02 is a submersible gauge-type pressure transducer designed to sit at the bottom of a tank and measure the head of fluid above it. Connected to a Maretron FPM100 Fluid Pressure Monitor, it lets the FPM100 calculate and broadcast the tank level over the NMEA 2000 network for display anywhere aboard.
Mounting directly inside the tank makes it ideal for deep tanks, tanks with internal structures, or awkward shapes that other sensing methods cannot handle. The 0 to 1.5 PSI range corresponds to a shallow fluid column, and the FPM100 can be calibrated for irregular tank shapes to give a true level reading. It suits water, waste water, diesel, motor oil and hydraulic fluid.
The transducer has a rugged stainless steel body and a vented cable, and is designed for a tank with a 5-hole SAE J1810 top fitting. Not approved for use with petrol or gasoline.
