Description
The Balmar 5552 is a six-groove K6 serpentine alternator pulley with a 0.875 inch bore, machined from anodised steel for long life in marine use. Its 2.7 inch outside diameter and small-case bore make it the correct serpentine pulley for Balmar 95-Series, 97-Series, 97EHD-Series and 98-Series alternators.
A six-groove serpentine belt provides much greater contact area than a single or dual vee, allowing the alternator to carry higher power loads while running quieter and producing less belt dust. Confirm the diameter and bore suit your alternator and engine before fitting to keep charging output correct.
