Description
The Balmar 61-0010 is a single-groove DeepVee alternator pulley with a 17mm bore, machined from anodised steel for corrosion resistance. With a 2.7 inch outside diameter and a 1/2 inch belt groove, it is the standard single-vee (SV) pulley supplied on Balmar 6-Series alternators and accepts a common 1/2 inch vee belt.
The DeepVee groove seats the belt deeply for secure grip on single-belt installations. A single vee pulley is suited to lower power draws, so for high-output charging Balmar recommends stepping up to a dual-vee or serpentine pulley. Confirm belt width and pulley diameter against your engine before fitting.
