Description
The Maretron RIM100 Run Indicator Module monitors both AC and DC electrical circuits and reports over an NMEA 2000 network whether each circuit is energised and running. A single RIM100 watches up to six independently connected devices, so their status can be shown on any compatible display or monitoring system aboard.
It works equally well with manually switched loads such as running, anchor or deck lights and with automatically switched loads such as bilge pumps, exhaust and intake fans, and transfer pumps. Knowing exactly when automatic equipment is or is not running is especially valuable for spotting problems early. Built-in timers and counters record how long and how many times each load has been energised.
Housed in a compact, waterproof IP64 case, the RIM100 accepts loads from 9 to 240 volts AC or DC on each channel and connects to the network through a standard five-pin connector. It can also flag events such as water detected in fuel when paired with a suitable detector.
