Description
The RuuviTag Pro 2-in-1 is the toughest sensor in the Ruuvi range, built for demanding marine and industrial installations. Its fully sealed enclosure carries IP68 and IP69K ratings, so it withstands immersion and hot pressurised wash-down, making it well suited to bilges, wet lockers, live wells, refrigeration and engine spaces. Because the housing is completely closed it measures temperature and motion only, with no humidity or pressure sensor, using a high-accuracy Texas Instruments sensor rated to within 0.1 degrees C, and broadcasts the readings over Bluetooth Low Energy every 2.5 seconds to the free Ruuvi Station app.
A user-replaceable CR2477T coin cell gives an estimated 12 to 24 months of life and a wide operating range of -40 to +85 degrees C. Bluetooth range is around 5 to 20 metres indoors and up to 100 metres outdoors, and adding a Ruuvi Gateway forwards the data to Ruuvi Cloud for remote monitoring. The rugged polycarbonate tag shares the open-source firmware of the standard RuuviTag and integrates with Victron Energy, Home Assistant and more.
