Description

The Ruuvi RuuviTag is a compact wireless environmental sensor that continuously measures temperature, relative humidity, air pressure and motion, then broadcasts the readings over Bluetooth Low Energy every 2.5 seconds. Because the data is sent as an open broadcast, any nearby phone running the free Ruuvi Station app (Android or iOS) can read it, showing live values, historical graphs and configurable alerts. Aboard, it is ideal for keeping an eye on cabin, fridge, freezer, bilge, engine-room or battery-compartment conditions, and it stores up to 10 days of history at 5 minute intervals that download automatically when the phone returns to range.

The sealed IP67 polycarbonate enclosure is splash-proof and suited to non-condensing locations, while a user-replaceable CR2477 coin cell delivers an estimated 12 to 24 months of life. Bluetooth range is roughly 5 to 20 metres indoors and up to 100 metres outdoors, and pairing the tag with a Ruuvi Gateway extends monitoring to Ruuvi Cloud for remote access from anywhere. The firmware is fully open source, and the tag integrates with Victron Energy, Home Assistant and other platforms.

What does the RuuviTag measure?
It measures air temperature, relative humidity, air pressure and motion, and reports all four values to the free Ruuvi Station app or to a Ruuvi Gateway.
How long does the battery last and can I replace it?
The included CR2477 coin cell lasts an estimated 12 to 24 months and is user-replaceable. For very cold or hot installations a CR2477T battery extends the operating temperature range.
Can I monitor a RuuviTag when I am away from the boat?
Yes. Within Bluetooth range the free Ruuvi Station app reads the sensor directly. Add a Ruuvi Gateway and the readings are forwarded to Ruuvi Cloud for remote monitoring from anywhere.
