Description
This is the 6 ft open array antenna for the Simrad Halo open array radar. Fitted to the Halo radar pedestal, it delivers an ultra-narrow 1.2 degree horizontal beam (sharpening to 0.8 degrees) for the best target discrimination in the range and supports an instrumented range of up to 72 nautical miles. The antenna weighs 6.5 kg and is supplied as a replacement or build-up component for the Halo pedestal.
