Description
The Simrad OP50 is a wired remote controller that delivers precise, confident control of a Simrad multifunction display even in the roughest sea conditions. With a full set of dedicated keys and a rotary control it lets the helmsman drive the MFD without reaching the screen, which is ideal for flybridge, cockpit and dual-station installations.
The OP50 connects directly to the NMEA 2000 backbone using its integrated 1.8 m (6 ft) male Micro-C cable and the supplied Micro-C T-connector, drawing power and data from the network. Where more than one OP50 is fitted, command can be handed between units, so multiple helm positions can share control of the same display. This is the landscape-mount version of the controller.
