Simrad RS35 Fixed Mount DSC VHF Radio with AIS Receiver
Description
The Simrad RS35 is a feature-rich fixed-mount VHF radio combining full Class D Digital Selective Calling with a built-in dual-channel AIS receiver, so you can see nearby AIS-equipped vessels when the radio is connected to a compatible chartplotter. A separate built-in CH70 receiver keeps watch on the digital distress channel, and a one-touch distress button transmits your MMSI and position until acknowledged.
Designed for everyday use, the RS35 features a rotary channel selector with push-to-select, a speaker microphone with a large PTT key, and a 30 W hailer with listen-back capability plus a manual and automatic foghorn. It supports up to two optional HS35 wireless handsets for remote control around the boat, stores up to 200 waypoints for great-circle navigation, and shares data over NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183. The radio is waterproof and submersible to JIS-7.
