Description
The Balmar 10-4047 is a 1 inch mounting spacer with a 1.0 inch diameter, used to correct alternator alignment on Balmar 6-Series and 9-Series installations. Spacers set the alternator the right distance from its mounting foot so the pulley lines up with the engine crank and water-pump pulleys.
Correct spacing keeps the drive belt running true and reduces belt wear and noise. Select spacer width to suit the offset your engine and bracket require.
