Description

The Oceanic Systems 4652 Submersible Hydrostatic Fuel Sensor measures the level of gas or diesel fuel in a tank up to 2 metres deep and provides a 4-20mA output. Built on piezoresistive technology in a hermetically sealed IP68 housing, it is designed to be submerged directly in the fuel tank for reliable, long term and accurate level readings. The pressure connection is an exposed 316L stainless steel corrugated diaphragm, avoiding a pressure port and the blocking problems that go with it, while the electrical connection is a specially designed PU cable with an air tube and a PTFE cable cover. Combined with an Oceanic Systems tank level adaptor it reports fuel level onto the NMEA 2000 network for display on compatible instruments.
