Description
The Balmar MC-TS-A is an alternator temperature sensor with a 54 inch lead, used with Balmar MC series external voltage regulators such as the Max Charge and ARS-5. It lets the regulator monitor alternator case temperature and automatically reduce output if the alternator runs hot, protecting it during heavy charging. Balmar require alternator temperature sensing on all externally regulated installations, so this sensor, or the longer 80 inch version, should be fitted whenever a Balmar external regulator is used.
