TLM100-01
The Maretron TLM100 senses fluid level in tanks up to 40 inches (1.02m) deep using ultrasonic technology, so there are no long probes protruding into the tank to foul or corrode. Suitable for diesel, fresh water, waste water, black water and oil, it can be calibrated for irregular tank shapes for a true reading. Once calculated, the level is broadcast over the NMEA 2000 network for viewing anywhere on the vessel.

Description

The Maretron TLM100 Tank Level Monitor uses ultrasonic technology to sense fluid levels, transmitting sound waves from the top of the tank and measuring their flight time to and from the fluid, much like a depth sensor. This means there are no difficult, long probes protruding into the tank that can foul or corrode. It measures tanks up to 40 inches (1.02m) deep and can be used for diesel, fresh water, waste water, black water and oil (see the TLM150 for gasoline or the FPM100 for deeper tanks).

Unlike most senders that only work with rectangular tanks, the TLM100 can be calibrated for irregular tank shapes so you know the true level in your tanks, and programmable tank capacity lets displays calculate the amount remaining. It mounts to the top of the tank using the industry-standard SAE J1810 five-hole pattern, or to threaded openings using optional 1.5" NPT or 1.25" BSP adapters. An optional focus tube permits use on planing hulls. Levels are viewable on any compatible NMEA 2000 display such as the Maretron DSM410 or DSM570.

How does the TLM100 measure tank level?
It uses ultrasonic technology, transmitting sound waves from the top of the tank and measuring their flight time to and from the fluid surface, so no long probes are needed inside the tank.
What fluids and tank depths does it support?
It suits diesel, fresh water, waste water, black water and oil tanks up to 40 inches (1.02m) deep. For gasoline use the TLM150, and for deeper tanks the FPM100.
How is the TLM100 mounted?
It mounts to the top of the tank using the industry-standard SAE J1810 five-hole pattern, or to threaded openings using optional 1.5" NPT or 1.25" BSP adapters. An optional focus tube allows use on planing hulls.
