Description
The Victron Quattro 48/3000/35-50/50 is a combined inverter and battery charger for 120 VAC North American marine and off-grid systems running from a 48 volt battery bank. It delivers 3000 VA of continuous pure sine wave power together with a 35 amp charger, making it well suited to systems where higher DC voltage keeps cable sizes and losses down.
The Quattro has two AC inputs with an integrated transfer switch. It automatically connects to whichever source is active, for example the public grid and a generator, and switches over in under 20 milliseconds so sensitive electronics keep running without interruption. A second AC output powers non-critical loads only when an external source is present.
PowerControl and PowerAssist let you set a current limit on each input and boost limited shore or generator power with energy from the battery, avoiding nuisance tripping. The unit is lithium-ion battery compatible and integrates with Victron GX devices and the VRM portal for on-site and remote monitoring.
