Description
The Airmar B275LH-W is a bronze thru-hull CHIRP transducer built for serious offshore and commercial use. It combines a low band of 42 to 65 kHz for deep-water bottom tracking with a high band of 150 to 250 kHz for high-resolution detail, providing 123 kHz of total bandwidth and covering the popular 50 and 200 kHz working frequencies from a single fitting.
Its wide-beam high channel holds a constant 25 degree cone across the entire high band, giving roughly six times the coverage of a standard narrow high-frequency transducer and painting cleaner, wider fish arches. The low band narrows through 25 to 16 degrees to concentrate energy for deep returns.
Rated at 1 kW and fitted with a fast-response temperature sensor, the flush bronze housing suits fibreglass and timber hulls on sportfishing and commercial vessels of around 7.5 metres and up. The xSonic connector plugs directly into compatible Simrad, Lowrance and B&G sounder modules.
