Description
The Airmar CM599LH-W is a chirp-ready cavity-mount transducer that is bonded into a fluid-filled chamber inside the hull, shooting through the fibreglass so no external fitting breaks the waterline. It pairs a 28 to 60 kHz low band with a 150 to 250 kHz high band, giving 132 kHz of total bandwidth and true broadband performance from an in-hull installation.
The high channel holds a constant 25 degree wide beam for extensive coverage and clean fish arches in the upper water column, while the low channel narrows from 23 to 9 degrees athwartships to focus energy for deep bottom tracking. Low-band reach extends to around 3,000 metres, with the high band detailing the top 150 metres.
With 3 kW available on the low band and 1 kW on the high band plus a fast-response temperature sensor, the CM599LH-W suits owners who want serious CHIRP capability without a protruding thru-hull, connecting to compatible Simrad, Lowrance and B&G sounders via the xSonic connector.
