Description
The Airmar PM275LH-W is a pocket-mount, CHIRP-ready transducer that fits into a machined recess in the hull so the active face sits flush with the bottom for clean water flow at high speed. It offers the same wide-beam performance as the rest of the 275 series, combining a 42 to 65 kHz low band with a 150 to 250 kHz high band for 123 kHz of total bandwidth.
The high channel maintains a constant 25 degree beam right across its range, giving roughly twice the coverage of a conventional narrow high-frequency transducer and clearer separation of baitfish and game fish in the upper water column. The low band tightens through 25 to 16 degrees to focus energy for deep bottom tracking.
Rated at 1 kW with a fast-response temperature sensor, the pocket housing suits planing fibreglass and timber hulls of around 8 metres and above, and connects to compatible Simrad, Lowrance and B&G sounders through the xSonic connector.
