Description
The Balmar BBU is a universal Belt Buddy tensioning mechanism designed to fit onto an existing alternator adjustment arm, converting a standard tensioning arm into the Belt Buddy system. It is precision cut and powder coated for corrosion protection, and gives a controlled, repeatable way to set belt tension during alternator installation.
Unlike the complete UBB assembly, the BBU is supplied on its own for owners who already have a suitable adjustment arm and simply want to add Belt Buddy functionality. It provides a positive stop that helps prevent belt slip once tension is set.
