Description
This electronic control unit (ECU) is the power and drive electronics for the Garmin GHP Compact Reactor hydraulic autopilot. It connects to and powers the course computer unit and the compact hydraulic pump, translating the autopilot heading commands into pump movement to steer the boat.
The ECU is fully gasketed and sealed to IPX7, and must be mounted close to the pump because the pump-to-ECU cables cannot be extended. It is intended as a service or replacement part for an existing GHP Compact Reactor installation and should be fitted by a qualified marine engineer.
