Description

The IRIS036 packs a selectable 4-in-1 HD camera core into a miniature flush-mount housing designed to deliver high-quality video while blending into a boat's aesthetic. A single output switches between CVBS composite (for legacy plotters and monitors) and three HD-analogue formats, HD-TVI, HD-CVI and AHD, giving up to 1080p high definition over conventional coaxial cable. A marine-grade 316 stainless bezel and heavy smoked dome keep the camera small, elegant and unobtrusive, and an integrated on-screen menu lets you configure the video format along with features such as mirror image, noise reduction and wide dynamic range.

Advanced wide dynamic range processing helps deliver crisp, clear images even in bright sunshine and high-contrast scenes. Installation is straightforward with a 62mm panel cutout: the camera is screwed into place, positioned using the manually adjustable two-axis gimbal mount, and finished with the decorative bezel. Set-up is carried out using an in-line thumb-stick controller built into the cable tail.

Suitable for internal or external use, the IRIS036 is a versatile solution as a backup or transom camera, for companionway and deck monitoring, and as part of an onboard security system. In CVBS mode it is compatible with any chart plotter with a composite video input, televisions via an AV input and dedicated video monitors, while the HD-analogue modes connect to compatible HD displays or Iris recorders. The IRIS036 is the analogue version of the x36 stainless housing; a network IP model, the IRIS436, is available where an Ethernet camera is required.
