Description
This Garmin B260 is the narrow-beam 1 kW bronze thru-hull transducer in its stem configuration, supplied with an integrated transducer identification (XID) and high-performance fairing. The dual-frequency 50/200 kHz element delivers a 19 degree beam at 50 kHz for broad coverage and a tight 6 degree beam at 200 kHz for high-resolution bottom and fish detail, with depth and water-temperature data returned to compatible Garmin sounders.
Installed with its custom fairing, the B260 presents a vertical beam and performs well at speed in deep water, reading to between 1,800 and 2,500 ft. It accommodates hull deadrise angles from 0 to 20 degrees and uses an 8-pin Garmin connection; a 6-pin Garmin sounder requires adapter cable 010-11612-00. Supplied with installation hardware and instructions.
