Description
The Garmin GMR 626 xHD2 is a complete open-array radar system combining a 6 kW magnetron pedestal with a 6 ft (1.8 m) open-array antenna. The longer array narrows the horizontal beamwidth to just 1.1 degrees, giving outstanding target separation and bearing discrimination out to a 72 nautical mile maximum range, with selectable 24 and 48 rpm rotation.
Dual range presents close and distant views side by side, and dual-radar support lets each display draw from one of two radar sources for redundancy. MARPA target tracking aids collision avoidance, and the IPX6 pedestal connects to compatible Garmin chartplotters over the Garmin Marine Network. Supplied with a 15 m power cable and 15 m network cable.
