Description
The SS270 is a high-performance 1 kW stainless steel thru-hull transducer built for anglers who want a wider view of shallow to mid-water depths. Its wide 25 degree beam covers around four times the area at 200 kHz of a narrow-beam unit such as the B260, so more fish and structure are visible across the water column on a single pass.
Operating at 50 kHz and 200 kHz, the SS270 holds the same 25 degree beam at both frequencies, which means a split-screen display shows matching coverage and fish appear in the same size and position on each side. It reaches depths of 1,350 to 2,000 ft and reports both depth and temperature through an 8-pin connector on a 39 ft cable.
The stainless steel housing suits aluminium and other metal hulls and supports deadrise angles from 0 to 20 degrees. When connecting to a 6-pin Garmin sounder, transducer adapter cable 010-11612-00 is required.
