Description
The Garmin VHF 115i is a compact, fixed-mount marine VHF radio built for everyday communication and emergency readiness. Selectable 1 W and 25 W transmit power keeps you in contact with shore stations, other vessels and the coastguard, while Class D digital selective calling allows one-touch distress alerts and direct calling once your MMSI is programmed. The radio comes pre-loaded with International, USA and Canada marine channels along with the ten NOAA weather channels.
Designed to match Garmin chartplotters and multifunction displays, the VHF 115i connects through NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 so position data and DSC information can be shared across your helm. A built-in 20 W hailer with foghorn and listen-back extends communication around the boat and dockside, and the unit supports the optional GHS 11 wired handset for a second station. The IPX7-rated housing and removable fist microphone suit open-helm and console installations.
