Description
The OPC-2004 is a plug adapter cable that allows Icom's HS-94, HS-95 and HS-97 headsets to be used with two-pin handportable radios such as the IC-F1000 and IC-F3002 series.
It provides VOX (voice-operated transmit) operation only - there is no PTT switch in the lead - so transmission is triggered by speech, leaving both hands free.
Use the OPC-2004 where a two-pin radio needs to be paired with an HS-series headset. Icom's VS-series adapters are the alternative where a PTT switch is required.
