Description
The Icom HM-165 is a waterproof speaker-microphone designed for use with Icom's buoyant handheld marine VHF radios. It will float when attached to a compatible radio, so the complete set stays at the surface if it goes overboard, and it lets you speak and listen without holding the radio itself to your ear. A waterproof screw-type connector secures the microphone to the radio and helps prevent water intrusion at the connection point. The HM-165 fits the IC-M25EURO, IC-M33, IC-M35, IC-M37E, IC-M93DEURO and IC-M94DE handheld VHF radios, making it a practical accessory for operating from the helm or while moving around on deck.
