Description
The HM-195SW is the super-white version of Icom's HM-195 COMMANDMIC IV, a full-function remote control microphone that lets the radio be operated from a second position such as a flybridge, tower or separate cabin.
Every function of the host radio is available at the microphone, including power on/off, channel selection, Class D DSC and the distress button on the rear of the unit, plus PA and fog horn. It can also be used as an intercom back to the radio, has its own external speaker connection, and its audio and backlight levels are set independently of the radio.
Supplied with a 6.1 m (20 ft) OPC-1540 connection cable, mounting bracket and microphone hanger; two optional OPC-1541 extension cables can be daisy-chained for a maximum run of 18.3 m (60 ft). For the IC-M400BB/IC-M400BBE, IC-M423/IC-M423GE and IC-M506 series.
