Description
The Icom HM-228 is an IPX7 waterproof speaker-microphone designed primarily for the IC-M94DE handheld DSC/VHF radio with AIS receiver, letting you keep the radio stowed while you listen and transmit through the remote handset. Its compact body and 8-position rotatable clip make it easy to attach to clothing or a lifejacket and angle the speaker towards you, while the IPX7 rating ensures reliable performance in the wet conditions found on the water. The coiled cable extends to 1.5 metres for freedom of movement and retracts neatly when not in use. Beyond the IC-M94DE, the HM-228 is also compatible with the Icom IC-M25, IC-M35, IC-M37E and IC-M93DEURO handheld marine VHF radios.
