Description
The Garmin Cortex External Wi-Fi Antenna extends the Wi-Fi range of the Cortex hub, strengthening the wireless link used to connect Cortex handsets and the Cortex Onboard app. Relocating the antenna to a more open position helps maintain a dependable connection across larger vessels or where the hub is installed in an enclosed space.
The antenna operates on the 2.4 GHz band and connects externally to the Cortex hub using an SMA connector, providing better coverage than the internal antenna. It is designed to work as part of the Cortex marine communications system.
