DCM100-01
The Maretron DCM100 is an NMEA 2000 DC and battery monitor that measures the voltage and current of any direct current source or load. It uses an included Hall effect current sensor that simply slips over the cable, with no need to break connections or fit a shunt. When monitoring batteries it computes state of charge and time remaining, all viewable on any compatible Maretron display.

Description

The Maretron DCM100 Direct Current Monitor is an advanced device for measuring the voltage and current of any DC power source or load aboard your vessel. Sources such as batteries, alternators, solar panels and wind generators can be monitored, as can loads like inverters, windlasses, DC refrigerators and any DC branch circuit.

When the DCM100 is used to monitor batteries, sophisticated circuitry and software algorithms combine battery temperature, load current, charging current and terminal voltage to compute battery state of charge and time remaining. To measure current it uses an included state-of-the-art Hall effect sensor that slips over the cable, so there is no need to break connections or install an inline shunt as with other solutions.

The DCM100 is a key component of the Maretron N2KView vessel monitoring and control system, and being NMEA 2000 certified it lets you view all of your DC information anywhere on the vessel using a compatible display.
