Description
The M300 Boson 640 is the high-resolution thermal imaging core module used in the FLIR M300-series marine pan and tilt camera platform. At its heart is the FLIR Boson, a 12 micron uncooled longwave infrared (LWIR) detector with 640 x 512 resolution, the same class of thermal sensor that powers the M364 camera. Thermal imaging detects heat rather than light, allowing detection of vessels, buoys, obstacles and people in the water in complete darkness, glare and light fog.
Supplied as a 9 Hz camera core module rather than a complete camera, the M300 Boson 640 is intended for integration into, or service of, the M300-series housing with its two-axis gyro stabilisation and pan and tilt mechanism. The Boson core is NDAA compliant and ITAR free. For complete fitment, networking and environmental details, refer to the M300-series camera documentation and the M364 specification.
