Description
The Raymarine B17 is a retractable bronze thru-hull depth transducer that provides accurate depth readings to Raymarine analogue instrument systems. It operates at 200 kHz with a 13 deg beam width and works with instruments such as the i40 Depth, i50 Depth, iTC-5 and ST60+ Depth. The depth element retracts from its 2-inch bronze through-hull fitting for cleaning, antifouling and maintenance without hauling the boat, and a right-angle cable exit protects the connection if the fitting is stepped on. The bronze housing suits fibreglass and wood hulls and is supplied with a 15 m (45 ft) cable fitted with ISO female spade connectors for direct wiring to an instrument transducer input or an iTC-5 converter.
