Description
The Raymarine P17 is a retractable plastic thru-hull depth transducer for Raymarine analogue instrument systems. It operates at 200 kHz with a 13 deg beam width and reports depth to compatible instruments such as the i40, i50, iTC-5 and ST60+. The retractable depth element lifts out of its 2-inch through-hull housing for cleaning, antifouling and servicing without hauling the boat, and a right-angle cable exit protects the connection if the fitting is stepped on. The low-profile plastic housing is suitable for fibreglass and metal hulls and is supplied with a 15 m (45 ft) cable fitted with ISO spade connectors for direct wiring to an instrument transducer input or an iTC-5 converter.
