Description

The Raymarine HV-300 is the starboard half of the HyperVision thru-hull transducer pair for Raymarine Element HV chartplotters. It combines several sonar channels in one plastic through-hull housing: 1.2 MHz HyperVision CHIRP for super high-resolution RealVision 3D, SideVision and DownVision imaging, 350 kHz standard CHIRP for greater range, and 200 kHz conical high CHIRP for traditional fish-finding and bottom tracking at speed. The starboard transducer is fitted ahead of the starboard side of the keel and works with its opposite-hand partner to build a full 3D picture of the water and seabed around the boat. Suitable for fibreglass and metal hulls across a 0 to 25 deg deadrise range, it records depth and temperature and is supplied with a 6 m (19 ft) cable.

Do I need both port and starboard transducers?
Yes. The HV-300 thru-hull installation uses a matched port and starboard pair to generate the full RealVision 3D and SideVision picture. This starboard unit must be paired with the opposite-hand transducer.
