Description
The Raymarine P371 S/T Shorty speed and temperature transducer is designed for boats with limited headroom under the floorboards. Its low-profile housing sits nearly flush to the hull and minimises drag, with only about 5 mm extending outside, and the included P398 countersunk housing mounts flush to eliminate turbulence for more accurate speed readings.
The Shorty installs in tight spaces needing only 153 mm (6 inches) of headroom, with an overall height of just 75 mm (2.96 inches). A right-angle cable exit saves space and prevents damage if the transducer is stepped on, and a 10 m (33 ft) cable with ISO spade connectors wires it to compatible Raymarine instruments via an iTC-5 or directly to i50 Speed and legacy instruments. It is suitable for fibreglass or metal hulls.
