Description
The Raymarine ST900 takes speed performance to the next level with its Gen2 Paddlewheel, which outperforms other paddlewheel sensors for responsive startup and linearity. It begins delivering accurate speed reporting as low as 0.3 knots and maintains smooth speed output through 45 knots, with a fast-response water-temperature sensor.
This version uses a low-profile plastic P120 through-hull housing that sits nearly flush to the hull, with only about 5 mm (3/16 inch) extending outside to minimise drag. The housing has a valve assembly that minimises water ingress in the bilge when the sensor is removed for routine paddlewheel maintenance. It provides an analog output for use with Raymarine instruments such as the i40, i50 and iTC-5, and is supplied with a 20 m (65 ft) cable. The transducer core is also retrofittable into existing Airmar P120 and B120 housings.
