Description
The Simrad FU80 is a Follow-Up (FU) remote control unit with display, used to monitor and control Simrad AP60 and AP70/AP80 autopilot systems from a secondary steering position. Its loose steering lever provides proportional follow-up steering, where rudder angle follows the position of the lever.
The unit includes Take Command and Mode buttons and allows course changes in Auto mode. It is supplied with a 6 m factory-mounted drop cable, T-connector, front bezel, panel-mounting gasket and screws, and installation and user documentation.
