Description
The SS60 is an entry-level stainless steel thru-hull transducer that provides a vertical beam without the need for a fairing. The 600 W housing is well suited to aluminium and other metal hulls and gives reliable depth and temperature readings for inshore and coastal use.
Operating at 50 kHz and 200 kHz, it reaches depths of 800 to 1,200 ft with a wide 45 degree low-frequency and 12 degree high-frequency beam for good coverage and fish detection. It reports both depth and temperature through an 8-pin connector on a 39 ft cable.
This version carries a 12 degree tilted element so the beam fires vertically on hull deadrise angles from 8 to 15 degrees. When connecting to a 6-pin Garmin sounder, a transducer adapter cable (010-11612-00) is required.
