Description
The fairing block fits between the hull and the ForwardScan through-hull, correcting for hull deadrise so the transducer sits square to the water and sees a clean, undisturbed flow. Alignment matters on a forward-looking transducer: get it wrong and the picture ahead degrades as soon as the boat picks up speed.
Supplied as a replacement for the fairing in an existing installation, and the part to have on hand when the transducer is dropped out at antifouling time.
