Description
The Icom AT-141 is an automatic antenna tuner unit for HF marine SSB installations. It is housed in a durable, completely weather resistant ASA case with a rubber gasket, so it can be conveniently mounted near the antenna element where exposure to the elements would defeat a lesser unit. The AT-141 matches all frequencies across the HF marine band; for example, it will match a 7 m long-wire antenna right across 1.6 to 30 MHz. Tuning is fully automatic: a single press of the [TUNE] key on the transceiver starts the matching process, leaving the operator free to concentrate on communications.
