Description
The Simrad R5000 Radar Processor is the black-box heart of the R5000 commercial radar range, connecting to the radar transceiver over a thin, easy-to-route Ethernet cable for straightforward installation even on smaller vessels. Multiple processors can be networked to build multi-radar systems in which any station can control any connected radar, giving both operational flexibility and redundancy. Designed for type-approved X- and S-Band systems aboard CAT 1 and CAT 2 SOLAS vessels including high-speed craft, it drives a modern interface with keypad and trackball control to keep key information, alerts and settings close at hand.
