Description
This is a 12kW X-Band SRT LAN radar pedestal for the Simrad R5000 commercial radar series. The pedestal houses the up-mast transceiver and antenna drive and connects to the radar processor over the networked SRT LAN interface, so only thin power and Ethernet cables run down the mast. It is supplied as a replacement or spare pedestal for R5000 X-Band installations and should be fitted by a qualified radar technician.
