Description
The NSS9 evo3S is the 9-inch model in Simrad's premium hybrid-touch multifunction range, built around the iMX 8 processor for fast, fluid operation under all conditions. Its SolarMAX HD IPS display stays clear in bright sunlight and through polarised sunglasses, and the all-weather touchscreen pairs with a keypad and rotary dial for precise control when the going gets rough.
A built-in 1 kW CHIRP echosounder and two XSonic transducer ports support conventional 50/200 kHz, HDI, TotalScan and ForwardScan sonar, so a single display can cover bottom tracking, fish finding and forward-looking views ahead of the boat. The internal GNSS receiver, Wi-Fi and NMEA 2000 networking let the unit run standalone or as part of a larger glass-bridge system.
Connect HALO radar, additional sonar modules such as the S5100 or StructureScan 3D, and a Simrad autopilot to build a fully integrated helm. The display can also be mirrored to a phone or tablet through the Simrad app for charts, sonar and engine data from anywhere on board.
