Description
The Simrad R3016 Halo 6 kit is a complete radar package built around a large R3016 16-inch radar control display and the solid-state Halo 6 open array radar. The full-length 6 ft antenna delivers an ultra-narrow 1.2 degree horizontal beam for the best target discrimination in the range and an instrumented range of up to 72 nautical miles, driven by a 25 W solid-state pedestal.
With no magnetron the radar is ready to transmit in 16 to 25 seconds from power-on and remains safe to operate in harbours and marinas. The supplied RI-12 interface module feeds NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 navigation data into the system, while the 16-inch R3016 display gives full radar control and overlay. This top-of-range open array package suits larger vessels that want maximum performance from a dedicated radar station.
