Description

The Airmar SS175M is a 1 kW Medium CHIRP thru-hull transducer that bridges shallow and deep water. Its single broadband ceramic element sweeps 85 to 135 kHz, returning excellent target separation and bottom detail at medium offshore depths up to around 1,500 ft (457 m). The 16 to 11 degree beam concentrates energy for clean returns over wrecks, reefs and drop-offs, making it a versatile choice for coastal and offshore anglers.

The stainless steel housing suits fibreglass and wood hulls, and this 20 degree version is matched to hulls with 16 to 24 degrees of deadrise so the element fires vertically. A built-in depth and fast-response water-temperature sensor is included. The transducer terminates in a Navico XSonic black 9-pin connector on a 10 m cable for a direct connection to compatible 9-pin Simrad and Lowrance displays and sonar modules; legacy 7-pin XSonic displays connect using the 000-13977-001 adapter cable.
